Hello world… my name is Brooklyn Lee Burk!

Our sweet girl just couldn’t wait to join the party and arrived several weeks early. Patrick and I went to a routine visit on Monday, March 25, and that’s when we learned Brookie’s fluid levels were very low. So low that our doctor wasn’t willing to take a chance and decided to induce at 37 weeks.
“A wee bit of heaven, drifted down from above… a handful of happiness… a heart full of love.”
We got to the hospital Monday night & after more than 34 hours of labor, our little princess made her grand debut. [Yes, I said 34 hours of labor.]
We couldn’t be more in love with this tiny human. [She’s SO small!] God is so good for blessing us with this angel!

I’ll share more details later. For now, both mama & baby are doing great. [Dad is still recovering.]

Katie & Patrick, so happy for you both…along with both of our families! She is absolutely beautiful. Glad all is going well. For the number of hours of labor you look fantastic. Motherhood agrees with you.
