Hey, y’all – I’m Katie! I’m a first-time mama trying to figure out this whole parenthood thing… while keeping a sense of humor.
My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Brooklyn Lee, to the world on March 27, 2019, and we couldn’t be more in love with her.
Neither of us had ever changed a diaper before Brooklyn was born, so I figured Amusingly Katie would be a great way to showcase our journey as new parents. By the way, I’m a frikkin’ pro at diaper changes now.
My maiden name is Muse. Yes, that’s where “Amusingly” comes from because humor gets me through life. Also, did you know the Greek word “Muse” means to inspire? Just sayin’…
Amusingly Katie is meant to serve as a lighthearted source of inspiration and laughter, covering all things pregnancy, motherhood, lifestyle and more. I’m over the moon to be in club parenthood, but I’m hoping we can all learn and grow together along the way.
