Baby shower: Pretty palms for a soon to be mom

I’m feeling so loved after having another baby shower this weekend, thrown by six of my best friends. [Thank you so much Emily, Kate, Jessie, Lauren, Morgan, & Rachel – love y’all!]

The theme was palm leaves and everything turned out so perfect. From the “momosa” bar to a leafy photo banner over the fireplace, a stunning diaper cake, to miniature palm trees scattered throughout the house, an incredible food spread, and a beautiful balloon arch – I could go on and on! [Fun fact: The shower was held at Rachel‘s house & we’ve been friends since 1995… #BFF4L]

There were so many thoughtful touches that went into my shower, including party favors of Extra Toasty Cheez-Its, which has been one of my top pregnancy cravings. [My friends know me well.] I also loved seeing so many baby photos of Patrick and I framed throughout Rachel’s house. Speaking of thoughtful, I was also surprised by the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers from my friend, Christine, who lives in Chicago. [Thanks, Chrissy – love you!]

Baby B and I were showered with so much love and I couldn’t feel more thankful to my friends and family as I’m writing this. I loved spending my Saturday with so many of my favorite people. Thank you to everyone.

I can’t wait to one day show my daughter all of these photos so she can see just how excited everyone was for her arrival, and how loved she was before even making her grand entrance into the world.
